TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION

​At the forefront of Admiral Hotel’s commitment to technological innovation is the implementation of Accor’s Airangel project, a cutting-edge Wi-Fi solution designed to enhance the guest experience. The hotel is also pioneering the adoption of Accor Key technology, revolutionizing the guest check-in experience. Plans are also underway to introduce a state-of-the-art digital in-room guest entertainment solution.

 

​For operational efficiency, the hotel uses HUB OS as its CMMS, a system that empowers teams to execute corrective maintenance, implement preventive plans, and efficiently manage assets. It has also migrated back-office systems to cloud-based solutions like Oracle Opera, Oracle POS Simphony, and Infor Sun System, future-proofing its infrastructure against evolving IT needs, leading to long-term cost savings and operational agility

 

WATER & ENERGY CONSERVATION

​​We implemented resource conservation policies aimed at reducing electricity and water consumption. This is so we can minimize environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.​

 

​​We study and implement environmentally friendly maintenance practices such as usage of certified non-hazardous cleaning and construction materials where it could be applied. Implementation of automation on our HVAC and other mechanical systems to minimize energy consumption. Non-negotiable energy-efficient practices, such as usage of LED lighting, smart thermostats, and installation of flow limiter to water fixtures, to reduce utility costs and minimize environmental impact. In addition, we partner with industry leading companies for energy audits to get an unbiased assessment of the Hotel performance in terms energy consumption. We then put in place action plans on how to improve on the low performing aspect/s of the building/system and continue the best practices.​

 

GREEN PURCHASING

We require suppliers to provide vendor accreditation documents to be reviewed and approved by the purchasing department, along with sustainable certificates indicating that products are eco-friendly applied for food and non-food items. Together with Admiral Hotel’s Hygiene Manager and the Sustainability Champion, the purchasing team also conducts site visits to check if the accredited suppliers implement Green Globe practices. As for the materials needed for marketing and promotions, we opt for eco-friendly paper or FSC-certified to be in line with the hotel’s sustainability
